Illustration; Water rights vs Ecoseum

Water shares holders contend that this fear could become a reality.
Physical; The picture was taken on the banks of the Boiling Springs water source in Washington City just north of the freeway. The self reliance (family garden) sign points to the renewal of life of the water source. The ecoseum sign points to land or real-estate with an emphasis on a change of direction.

Psychological; The sign was created to represent the distinct opposition or direction these two plans could take city residences. in the reflection of the water is the living vegetation and is symbolic of what the water means to the lives of Washington city residences. The arrow with the ecoseum points to the land or real-estate and the economic advantages at the expense of a heritage of agricultural benefits. The light draws your eye to the appeal of the economic possibilities of the ecoseum. The focus on and boldness of the words Self Reliance  create a feeling of stability, as opposed to economic opportunity. The angle in which the sign was shot also draws emphasis on the importance of self-reliance.

Social; The plan developers submit to residence and water share holders in particular is that this Ecoseum would make us a destination. The contrast is the greater price that it would exact from the city and its residence. The Eccoseum would almost surely alter the agricultural heritage with the way that the plan is set up, changing the life style most residence have come here for.

Cultural;  If this development causes residences to loose water rights because developers are not able to collect in cisterns enough water to support a 14 acre development including a botanical garden as they claim. Then It is likely that the agricultural benefits that residence have built their life's around will be lost thus drastically changing their ability to be self reliant.

Temporal;  Residences would trade self reliance for the lore of tax dollars. urbanization and a loss of a self sufficient life style is a likely result.
